I am a dedicated and passionate meteorologist currently forecasting the weather for the CSRA at WJBF NewsChannel 6 in Augusta, GA. My journey into meteorology began with a powerful ice storm that struck my hometown of Greenville, SC, leaving a lasting impression of the impact weather can have on communities. Driven by this experience, I pursued my passion at the University of South Carolina, where I majored in Geography and minored in Environmental Studies. I further honed my skills at Mississippi State University's renowned broadcast meteorology program, delving into the complexities of weather patterns and forecasting. Throughout my career, I've covered blizzard conditions in the Midwest and tracked tornadoes and hurricanes during severe weather outbreaks in the Southeast, including an enriching internship at KNBC in Los Angeles, which provided valuable experience in a major media market.
